Process Metrix’ turn-key VIPER system brings real-time, non-contact temperature monitoring to Electric Arc Steelmaking

Process Metrix VIPER sensor is a non-contact instrument designed to accurately measure steel melt temperature in real-time.  Adapted to monitor radiant emissions through the virtual pipe of a specially designed CoJet burner, VIPER has the potential to reduce processing time, optimize energy consumption,reduce consumables use, and improve safety in EAF applications.
